First attempt at panoramic photography, 16 images taken in portrait format stitched together to give a 225 degree view of Cemlyn Bay on Anglesey.

The tif file is 22,000 pixels wide by 3600 pixels high and has grown to 1.4Gb !. The downloadable file is 3000 pixels by 500 pixels

Taken on a Canon 40D and 17-40L lens (at 35mm) fitted with a 0.6 grad ND filter.

An interesting exercise, but very difficult to display on the web or even print :)

edit: I've uploaded a Panoramic Viewer on my website for this image.

edit2: I've taken the 16 tif files and really gone through it at pixel level to remove any stitching errors. If you see any please let me know.

Print is not a problem, many companies print from roll media with width limit about 18 metres...

You could break the image up and spread it across several prints.

You wouldn't worry so much about what people really thought of you if you knew just how seldom they actually do.
