Experimenting with an electronic dropper system that will let me drop different coloured droplets one on top of the other. This shot is a red droplet followed by a blue droplet into clear water, you can see the blue more clearly on the top of the splash at the back. It has potential
 Canon 40D and 100mm macro lens, full frame uncroppped image 2 x 580Ex flash guns used for illumination 1/20 sec@ f16 iso 100 Water/milk droplets delivered via a Stopshot controlled solenoid valve. Camera and flashes triggered by a IR beam and StopShot programmable trigger. 580Ex @ 1/64 with snoot on the right aimed at the rear of the droplet. 580Ex @ 1/64 with snoot aimed at the droplet from the left. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
