My 700th Deviation and it's just Plain Water
I've been exploring the effects of flash power setting on motion blur, it might be of interest to you www.photosbykev.com/wordpress/photography/tips-and-trick/... Canon 40D and 100mm macro lens 2 x 580Ex flash guns used for illumination 1/20 sec@ f11 iso 100 Water droplets delivered via a Stopshot controlled solenoid valve. Camera and flashes triggered by a IR beam and StopShot programmable trigger. 580Ex @ 1/64 with snoot on the right aimed at the background with blue gel. 580Ex @ 1/64 with snoot and red gel aimed at the droplets from the left. |
