a full frame image of my favorite bird. The European Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis). A morning spent hiding in a bush eventually gave me this image
Comments Awesome shot, I always thought these birds were much large than this. He looks relatively small, but what striking colors. I wish we had these in my area.
 When you say 'a morning', just how long did you soend waiting for that one shot? Your pics are amazing, but I don't think we fully appreciate just how much it takes to get these.
 The main Kingfisher hovering sequence posted in the gaallery took somewhere in excess of 150 hours of waiting to get lol This image was maybe 5-6 hours

 Absolutely phenomenal! Well done, obviously those hours were well worth it!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
