Artist's Comments

An event that happens every year when hundreds of thousands of Starlings flock together to roost overnight. From the arrival of the first bird to the moment when all the thousands of starling land in trees takes approximately 15-30 minutes. It is an AWESOME sign to see and to hear as they fly low over the top of you. The formations and patterns they make as they fly as one single unit is breathtaking

ps if you ever get the opportunity to see this spectacular event, take an umbrella and if you have to look up keep your mouth closed !!! lol

Astounding the formation even looks like one big bird in flight in your photo. I'd so love to see that!

Amazing!

The more massive an object is, the more gravity it contains, which explains why it is harder to get ketchup out of the bigger glass ketchup bottles. More importantly it is also why a big screen tv collects more dust than a hoover.

Wow, that is truly amazing. Yeah, keeping your mouth closed seems like a grand idea! :)
