Last month I posted a journal and poll to gauge the community interest which seemed to be very positive.
The next step would be to decide on which Animal, Plants and Nature Charity should be chosen to benefit from any of the profits from the calendar sales. Please note me with a subject line "APN charity" with the charity you wish to be considered and I will put a poll together for the community to select our chosen charity.
Current suggestions

Arbor Day Foundation from *Meeliah
Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust from *EarthHart

You might of noticed the lack of involvement from me on dA in the last month but I am currently working flat out on a power station outage which is taking 99% of my time. If I'm not working I'm sleeping. This, unfortunately, will continue until August and I can only apologise for any delays responding to notes and messages.
Silent Auction & Contest for the AC Gallery
You haven't missed ^Kitten-of-Woe's Auction/Contest have you?
Read all about it here. The Artisan Crafts gallery is going to have a Silent Auction and Contest in which interested deviants can donate a handcrafted item to $Moonbeam13's 60k Walkathon in "The Weekend to End Breast Cancer."
To support $Moonbeam13's charity of choice I will be donated 100% of the profits from all prints bought from my dA account until September. Can you find a way of supporting this very worthwhile cause?
Journal CSS Contest
It's contest time once again. After the changes to dA journals my CSS needs to be reworked so I thought I would take the opportunity to revamp the style of journal I use and get you to design and code it for me.
The contest will last until the end of August so plenty of time for you to plan it out. Note me ^KevLewis with your CSS entries with the subject line "CSS contest".
My old journal style I really liked so that is a good guideline for any entries to the contest. The only stipulation is that the CSS code should be fully compliant with any dA restriction and should look as good in FF as IE7. I need to be able to feature artists with nicely formatted thumbnails, have a regular list of links and also have a number of headlined sections for different articles etc.
The winner will receive a 12 month Subscription. I do reserve the right not to select a winner if none of the designs comply with the listed requirements.
